Learning Outcome
The assignment taught me the value of software in the construction industry by comparing the functions, benefits and restrictions as compared to other software. By the end of the day, we understood what software suits best for quantity surveyors in this competitive construction industry so that cost could be saved for the highest efficiency. The assignemnt also introduce students to different kind of software available as well as its usage and able to present the best software to employer or client when necessary.

Project 2: Price Making and Bill of Quantities
Learning Outcome
With the availability to use Buildsoft, we are required to make a price list as well as a Bill of Quantity based on the quantities from Measurement 4 Project 1: Measuring Project. From the price list taken, we also are required to print the bill of quantities as well as the price list. The price rates are to be acquired and given with evidence as to where it is obtained.
