Learning Outcome
One of the many things that I have learnt from this project is the understanding of the principles of measurement and techniques in preparing the Bills of Quantities and Specification writings. The ability to be aware of the nature, content and significance of tendering and contractual documentation within a plan. Finally the sufficient knowledge and understanding of the Standard Method of Measurement (SMM) in taking off quantities.
The assignment also ensure that we are able to work together and create a full tender document.
Learning Outcome
The assignment contains three form:
First form requires information of the building as well as the costing
Second form requires the cost per square meter of building component as wel as the elemental ratio and quantity
Third Fom requires the specification of the component
The assignment ensure students learn to fill in the form of Elemental Cost Analysis by reading and understand the tender document. In other words, students are not only available able to analyse a tender document through teamwork but also be able to present the cost analysis to the client.
