Project 1: Sketching Illustrations
Brief:

Learning Outcome
From the assignment, i realized it is important to interpret the logical sequences of concepts and alternative construction practices, demonstrating the variation in material applications. The assignment taught me the construction of building and scientific principles which underpin the design and construction. Finally, as could be seen above, the ability to sketch, label and explain in detailed each element and component of a building.
Project 2: Video Presentation
Brief:
Students will normally work in small project groups of 5 members and each group must ensure that all members are involved in all aspects of the production. The video project is based on any of the construction process that lasts around 20 minutes. Plenty of light will make an incredible difference in the quality of the video footage that you shoot. Shooting outside will give you the best results, but if you’re shooting inside, try to turn on as many lights as possible, and bring them close to your video subject.
Learning Outcome
There are a lot to learn from this assignment, not just at the fact that we can understand how construction works but every small detail of construction work could be seen. Through the guidance of Mr. Alex and Mr. Lee, we manage to understand the concept and the process of construction work as well as the procedure. We also understood the importace of observation at minor detail that will affect the entire structure as a whole. For this reason, this is one of the best assignment to teach us the technology and technique in a construction because it's one experience we can never obtain from school curriculum.
