Brief

OBJECTIVES • You are required to select a building as a case study project. • Observe the building services systems taught in this module.

PART 1: Describe the purpose of the building as a case study.

PART 2: Discuss the existing types of system.

PART 3: Identify the problems, comment on TWO (2) systems; compare and contrast the current system with your recommendation and solution.

PART 4: Justify your finding from Part 3 and recommend the best system for this building.

 

Learning Outcome

By the end of this project, I learned to document the building service system of the selected building and successfully explain the installation process as well as identify possible problems within the systems and the recommendation for future improvement. We managed to surveyed and analyse the problem of the system within SummitUSJ. From the problem identification, we researched to search for means to improve the quality of the system for the surveyed area. And from here, not only did we learn to understand the concept of the system but also able to understand the situation of real-life situations and made conclusions from it.
